Ingredients:
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 2 small apples, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- Powdered sugar for dusting optional
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 375F 190C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet
Follow the directions on the package to thaw the puff pastry, then cut it into small squares
Lay out the squares of puff pastry on the baking sheet that has been prepared
It's easy to make the cinnamon sugar mix in a small bowl
Put a few apple slices on top of each puff pastry square, making sure they overlap a bit
Cover the apples with the cinnamon sugar mix
Melt the butter and brush it on top of the apple slices
Put it in an oven that has already been heated up and bake it for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and the apples are soft
Take it out of the oven and let it cool down a bit before you serve it
If you want, you can sprinkle powdered sugar on top before serving
